The World through my Lens
Welcome to my gallery of images I have captured on my world travels. This gallery is likely to become my largest as I continue to add new images, as well as photos from the days when I shot exclusively on slide film. Currently, most of these images have been captured with digital cameras. A passion for photography and being able to travel is a marriage made in heaven, and I feel very privileged that I have been able to travel fairly extensively during my lifetime, and currently the only continent which has eluded me is Antarctica – however, this is also most definitely on my bucket list! I hope these images may be able to transport you, at least briefly, to some far away exotic place or culture and let you see how amazingly spectacular this planet truly is.

Banyan Lake
Beautiful traditional stone arch bridge at Banyan Lake in central Guilin. Banyan Lake and the adjoining Cedar Lake date back to the Tang Dynasty when they were part of a city moat. The Cedar Part was named after the cedar trees growing on the shore and the Banyan Part got its name because of a large banyan tree standing on shore near the 1,000-year-old South City Gate.
